Marjorie Taylor Greene Set to Shake Things Up on The View — Conservatives Celebrate Bold Move

ABC’s The View is making headlines as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene joins the show after months of criticism over its lack of conservative guests. The upcoming episode promises fiery debates, political drama, and a major ratings buzz for The View.

ABC’s The View is preparing for a headline-making episode as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is scheduled to join the show on Tuesday. The announcement comes amid mounting criticism from conservatives who argue that the long-running talk show has become a liberal echo chamber, shutting out right-leaning voices.

Greene confirmed her upcoming appearance on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “I look forward to joining the ladies on The View on Tuesday!” Her post quickly went viral, with supporters celebrating her decision to step into what many described as “hostile territory.”

One user commented, “Oh, this is gonna be gold. MTG walking into The View is like dropping a grenade in a hen house.”

Conservative Backlash Over Guest Lineup

A study by NewsBusters earlier this year highlighted a stark imbalance in The View’s guest roster, revealing that between January and July, the show hosted 102 left-leaning guests and zero conservatives. The report reignited debate over the show’s political bias and lack of viewpoint diversity.

Last week, after hosting actress Cheryl Hines — the wife of Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — co-host Joy Behar acknowledged that the panel would like to bring on more Republican guests. However, Behar suggested that many conservatives are “scared” to appear on the show.

“I think we should have more Republicans on the show, but they don’t want to come on. They’re scared of us,” Behar said.

Her comment sparked an immediate reaction online, with multiple conservative figures disputing her claim and sharing proof that their requests to appear were denied or ignored.

Conservatives Push Back with “Receipts”

Fox News Digital obtained emails showing that The View’s booking team either declined or dodged multiple offers from conservative guests, including OutKick’s Riley Gaines, The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh, and New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz. Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer was told there wasn’t “room at the moment” when his representative pitched him for a Veterans Day segment.

Gaines, known for her advocacy to protect women’s sports, posted, “When I was pitched to go on, they said no,” alongside a viral clip of Behar’s “scared” comment.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who has appeared on The View in the past, also weighed in, saying he, too, was rejected during his book tour. Quoting Gaines’ post, Cruz wrote, “Me too!”

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) echoed similar frustration. “Hey @TheView, my offer still stands. I’m ready when you are!” he wrote on X, referencing previous attempts to be booked that were reportedly denied.

A History of Political Clashes

Over the years, The View has hosted several prominent conservative figures, including Cruz, Caitlyn Jenner, Donald Trump Jr., former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.). However, critics argue that true representation of pro-Trump conservatives is lacking.

Currently, Alyssa Farah Griffin serves as the show’s only right-leaning co-host — though she has been openly critical of former President Donald Trump and often aligns with her liberal counterparts.

What to Expect from Greene’s Appearance

Greene’s upcoming guest spot is expected to deliver the kind of fiery exchanges the show is known for. As one of the most outspoken members of Congress and a staunch Trump ally, her appearance could be one of The View’s most talked-about episodes of the year.

While ABC has not released official details about discussion topics, political analysts expect the conversation to touch on the 2024 election, Republican strategy, and Greene’s own controversial statements that have frequently made headlines.

Whether this move signals a shift toward more balanced representation or simply a ratings-driven decision remains to be seen. One thing is certain — when Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene takes a seat at The View’s table, the sparks are bound to fly.
